It’s been a while since I’ve written and many things are happening with setting up the workshop, the free teleseminars, the coaching calls, getting the speaker video up, as well as the new articles and attending the various networking meetings. Then there is the family and enjoying having my daughter join us for Thanksgiving.
Mind you this doesn’t include the time spent on inner reflection so I thought I had better check in – with myself as well as here.
Have you ever heard the phrase, "robbing Peter to pay Paul"? I believe it actually started in 1380 and what I know for sure is that my mom used that phrase over and over again. So yesterday I was doing some soul searching and feeling like I am taking more than I give (pursuant to a conversation about allowing others to really assist me which isn’t totally in my nature) and went looking for the source.
I can tell you that, with both my ex-husband named Paul and my current husband named Paul and THEN having a dream about walking on water (telling the people in my dream that I could but I knew before I’d start that I’d mess it up since I’d do it for a while and then WHILE I’m doing it start to question my ability), it’s been an interesting experience.
The idea that someone has already done it and I don’t believe I can is the issue here. I know many might disagree with me but it just seems that if Peter walked on water – even if only for a moment, then we’ve had the example set and should be able to follow suit. It illustrates the amount of faith that I feel lacking on my part. It’s an interesting journey to be sure and when I understand it better – I’ll let you know.
Until then next time – I’ll have more from Station MSFM for you in a day or two.
