Podcasting at Global Connections Networking

Out of a dozen definitions found on the web – I massaged one of them and came up with the following;

Podcasting: a term that came from a contraction of iPod and broadcasting. Today even a service like AudioAcrobat allows you to provide your audience with audio/video that can be played on iPods, or other MP3 Players. It allows your listeners to receive updated installments by subscribing to your “podcast”. Even without the external device the podcast is available on your computer via iTunes, Window Media Player or other audio program.

Global Connections Networking podcasts member interviews as well as our monthly teleseminars.

“Member Interviews” allow GCN members to get their information out to the listening public and move their message forward.

Monthly teleseminars provide education and information to Entrepreneurs, Solo-Professionals and Small Business Owners.

I think I should do a podcast on podcasting because if there is a way to screw it up – I’ve done it. I tend to be one of those kinesthetic folks that need the visceral experience of doing something new and we’ve finally gotten in the grove. The comforting thought is that AudioAcrobat is that it allowed me to cut the steps down (it’s walks you through the process and helps you add it to iTunes too.

As of today we have 5 titles for you to listen to:

  1. A Look Inside Global Connections Networking [GCN Teleseminar]
  2. 10 Top Software Tools for Jumpstarting Your Business [GCN Teleseminar]
  3. 9 Winning Ingredients In Your ABC [GCN Teleseminar]
